About This Circuit
Silverstone Circuit is a motor racing circuit in England, near the Northamptonshire villages of Towcester and Silverstone. Built on the site of a World War II Royal Air Force bomber station, it opened in 1948 and is the current home of the British Grand Prix. Known as the 'Home of British Motor Racing', it features high-speed corners and long straights.
